- Download SP FlashTool V5
- How To Install MTK Preloaders Driver
- Un-Root Your Device
HOW TO UPGRADE INFINIX HOT NOTE PRO X551 TO LOLLIPOP 5.1
HOW TO UPGRADE INFINIX HOT NOTE PRO X551 TO LOLLIPOP 5.1
- Download the Infinix Hot note Pro X551–BC-L–20150828 to your PC.
- Download SP FLASHTOOL V5 to your pc too.
- Extract both files separately to different folders.
- Open flastool.exe as ADMINISTRATOR
- Use the picture above as a Guide.
- Load the scatter file.
- Choose Firmware Upgrade labelled 2.
- Turn off your phone.
- Remove your SD CARD,SIMS and remember this will wipe your Internal Storage so make backups.
- Click on DOWNLOAD labelled 3.
- Plug in Your phone….
- Let it do its Magic.
- When you get the GREEN mark you can now unplug your phone from the PC.
- Turn on your phone it will take 5-10 Minutes to complete the boot process.
- Set it up, welcome to Lollipop 5.1

Please how can I downgrade back to infinix hot note pro kitkat because there are many bug in the lollipop version, for example the minimize and option key has been interchange, the camera is not sharp like that of kitkat, even the sound is not OK.

I had to Install MTK Preloaders Driver many times, but my Windows 10 stuck on (yunos acb interface) as the diver!!

I will advice you better OS than Windows 10 and check if you have disabled driver signature verification.
I do disabled driver signature verification and installed the driver, but when I tried to flash lollipop to my device following the instructions u mentioned, it stopped after 5 seconds & now it won’t open or charge or anything… Just pricked my device like (RIP)… Plz help me what to do?

You can’t get it via Ota… You can only get rolled over update via Ota to fix some minor bugs.

I tried flashing the new rom on my infinix 16+2 but it got dead bricked, I followed all the instructions given. It didn’t power up, charge, but it gives sound when connected to the pc. I later took the phone to carlcare lagos and it was repaired tho it was downgraded to 1gig ram… So tell me ayo what might be d cos of the brick

Blessynblack, have you tried another usb cable? Have you tried another PC? Let us know what you have tried except enabling debugging.
