Today Infinix rolled out another update for those already on 5.1 LOLLIPOP. You need to be on 5.I Lollipop to get this update.
HOW TO UPDATE YOUR INFINIX HOT X551.
If you’re rooted. Please UNROOT your device.
If you have Custom Recovery installed, please install the stock recovery.
After doing this.
Follow the guide below.
Goto your phone and open the system update make sure you’re connected to the Internet.
Download the update….
And install.
Am updating mine presently. Will tell you how it goes. ????

WAHALA DEY O… My upgraded hot note lollipop doesn’t fast charge again with my follow come charger. imagine my phone saying I have 12 hours left for my phone to b full starting from ²0% battery level.
Yesterday it took it 4 hours to b fully charged.
Please what could b wrong… Dunno if it’s because of the xposed installer I installed with some apps like greenify, better battery stat plus gravity
Please come to my aid on the solution o. The phone is just two weeks old.
Someone advised me to take my battery level to 0% and I did but d problem still persist. imagine charging from 11pm to 4am and my battery is just 42% charged… I wouldn’t know if it’s because of the xposed installer zip file I installed from recovery, please I want to uninstall it but no option for it in reckvery

Mostical am so sorry for the late reply but your solution is kinda hard to figure out, have you tried to use another charger? Please uninstall xposed, don’t ask me how. Follow the same method you used to install and the uninstallation files will be in same place you read the guide. Try this and get back to us. Best of luck.

Blondeve, goto settings in Kingroot and click remove root permisions.
