Google is really working hard to make sure IOS loose the Smartphone War. Android M 6.0 is the new OS as announced by Google some days ago. If you are still on Jelly Bean, KitKat i think you should start saving up for new devices that will come with this upcoming Operating System.
The third and final version of the Android M developer preview has also just been released, alongside the Android 6.0 SDK. Some Nexus devices will be able to use the preview version but the SDK is not yet ready for consumers.
